​The more than 1000 people are on the street without a home, and the numbers are growing. Recently in Pittsburgh Pa a young man died inside of a homeless shelter and was not found until 3 days later. Behind the walls and the cracks of the foundation in our city are people suffering. Many officials say that the homeless number is growing. As the fall and winter months approach we want to ensure that we are doing everything we can to help each homeless individual by being their emergency walk up food provider. Each day we visit many areas in the city and distribute pre packed meals in the afternoon and also at  night. to make sure no one goes hungry.
Our plan is to decrease the homeless numbers by providing them with help with job applications, interview attire, and shelter.

"There are more and more young black homeless men on the streets daily begging for quarters just for a meal. We need to stop this ignored epidemic"

​Donald launched Heart of Hope due to the amount of young minority men suffering from drug addiction and homelessness. Donald would consistently see the same young male standing outside of a local GetGo and always give him money for food while others would turn away in discuss. Donald one day asked him how he ended up this way and what he could do to get back on his feet. The young man expressed he came from a broken home and his parents where drug addicts whom began to neglect him. The young man expressed that he started committing illegal actions to get food and clothing for himself and he ended up in a juvenile facility. Once released he had no home to return too and no one to help him. He has been homeless ever since due to a failed foster system that placed him with a neglectful guardian. Donald began his mission to save his life. In this success he wanted to officially launch this campaign to help more homeless individuals.
